We are looking for an experienced Credit Controller to join our Lincoln based clients small but busy team.

Experienced Credit Controller

Due to continued growth our client has a need for an additional Credit Controller to join their friendly, Lincoln team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to become part of a successful and positive working environment, with the chance of progression for the right applicant.

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and have a can-do attitude. Previous credit control experience would be advantageous but not necessary as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Follow up with debtors for settlement of debt, to ensure collected within credit terms.
  • Liaise with clients and debtors by telephone and email to resolve debts on the ledger.
  • Build strong relationships across the organisation and effectively communicate with clients at all levels.
  • Carry out administrative duties such as email inbox and queries.
  • Produce weekly progress reports for clients.
  • Be able to meet challenging monthly targets.
  • Ad Hoc Duties as and when required.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within a fast-paced credit control or accounts department would be advantageous.
  • Ability to manage your own diary and workload effectively.
  • Effective communication including written and verbal.
  • Be of an Intermediate level in MS Office suit including MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS Word.
  • Uphold a high level of resilience to adapt to constant business growth.
  • Deliver required tasks accurately and on time whilst working under pressure.
  • Have a positive ‘can do attitude’ with natural problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Strong organisation & time management skills
  • Be able to work as part of a small team collaboratively as well as on your own initiative.

Office based role either Full-Time or Part- Time hours considered.

Full time hours M-F 08.30 – 16.30

28 days Holidays including bank holidays.
