Due to continued business growth our well- established client is looking to recruit an HR People & Culture Generalist to join their busy team. As the People & Culture Generalist, you will have the opportunity to work in a broad role and provide high-quality support and deliver the end-to-end employment lifecycle and be a strong contributor to the development of leaders and co-workers

In a newly formed People & Culture team you will have a key role providing you with ample opportunity to grow and develop.

Role summary

  • Provide support to management and employees on various People & Culture and employee relation related matters such as absences, compensation, and policy interpretation, resolving questions that may arise.
  • Provide support to leaders in recruitment, on-boarding, termination, and records maintenance.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of People & Culture policies and programs in areas such as learning & development, performance and change management.
  • Assist in compiling and reporting accurate HR data as required
  • Assist with relevant day-to-day operations and administration
  • Provide ad hoc executive assistant support directly to the Chief People Officer.

Skills/ Education

  • At least 1–2-year experience in a HR position.
  • Qualified to CIPD Level 3 or above or a degree in a HRM related subject.
  • Understanding of UK employment legislation.
  • Cultural awareness and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter, comfortable to work in a fast paced (transformative) environment.
  • High levels of initiative and commitment to change enablement.
  • A customer-focused outlook with a high level of discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
