Key Responsibilities

  • Process Monthly Payroll for 200+ employees with Sage Payroll, including submissions to external stakeholders
  • Complete balance sheet reconciliations, include debtors/creditors/bank reconciliations, etc
  • Calculate/process deferred income
  • Support the Transactional Finance team (Sales/purchase ledger) and provide cover if needed
  • Support in the ongoing monitoring of policies/procedures within Finance
  • Maintain best practice with a view to continued improvement within Finance processes
  • Manage building rates
  • Manage waste management
  • Review and process company credit card statements
  • Any other duties reasonably requested

Knowledge & Skills

  • Sage Line 50 and Sage Payroll experience
  • Knowledge of UK Taxes/PAYE/NiC/Pension
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
  • Well organised
  • A team player with ability to work on own initiative and as part of the team
  • Good IT, communication, and prioritisation skills
  • Approachable with a willingness to help others
  • Ability to present information in a professional manner
  • Ability to learn quickly and accurately, with ingrained attention to detail

Hours are 08:45 – 17:15 M-F

Experienced Warehouse Operative Required

 

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager duties will include:-

  • Preparing orders and sample requests as required,
  • Ensuring orders are packed & labelled correctly and despatched to their correct destination
  • Ensuring orders where pre agreed requirements are in place are prepared to a client’s specification
  • Ensuring stock is stored in a safe manner, in the correct locations & recorded accurately in SAP
  • Utilising the SAP system & UPS World-Ship software.
  • Work in an accurate and efficient manner ensuring a safe affable working environment; at all times, for everyone,
  • Follow procedures to ensure the staff, warehouse, stock & buildings are secure during the working day, locked & alarmed each evening
  • Highlighting potential quality issues prior to preparation and\or despatch
  • Ensuring the warehouse and adjacent offices are an efficient clean & safe environment to work in at all times
  • Liaising with courier companies and be able to utilise UPS’s Worldship programme without the need for supervision
  • Work  alongside Customer Services & Warehouse Teams to ensure the stock is used in an efficient manner
  • Be aware of potential  deliveries & containers
  • Working on “bespoke “ projects as requested by the General Manager
  • Assist with the preparation of offsite exhibition stands as necessary.
  • Report issues of concern relating to the warehouse operation via their line manager
  • Attend Training Courses as requested
  • Any other reasonable request within the operation of the business

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is essential as is physical fitness

IT literate

Have a good eye for detail

Preferred Skills

  • Forklift Counterbalance \ bendy license desirable but not essential
  • A business like  telephone manner
  • Accurate record keeping
  • Experience with SAP or willing to learn
  • Comfortable at working under pressure

Salary £21,000 + annual bonus (dependent on company performance)

C# .Net Software Developer to join our Lincoln clients well-established company

 

Key Responsibilities: Working within a small team responsibilities will be varied but at the core these include:

  • Design, develop, test and debug product functionality and user interfaces in C#/.NET desktop application code.
  • Work with and build on top of existing code bases as well as plan and develop new code.
  • Assist the senior developers with planning software application features and code structure.
  • Identify and implement performance improvements in application code.
  • Develop knowledge and skills in traffic signal engineering to fully understand how the company’s applications are used by end-users.
  • In due course when familiar with the company’s applications, assist with providing technical support to end-users.
  • Assist in the process for packaging and releasing software and with technical issues relating to licence management.

Personality: This position will be a part of a small development team and the candidate should be:

Essential Job Skills:        

  • Proficiency and a good understanding of C# with a strong focus on desktop applications.

Kitchen Manager/ Chef ( Grantham)

 

Duties for this role will include:-

  • Running and maintaining all aspects of the kitchen, restaurant and social events. To lead, manage and drive your team and to serve well-presented food, of an excellent quality
  • Maintain an efficient working kitchen within set budgets, including planning labour, ingredients and ensure the kitchen is profitable
  • Maintain all food and health and safety legislation/regulations.
  • Maintaining and updating recipe and compliance documentation.
  • Responsible for stock rotation and stock control including checking use by dates and ordering of food stocks, taking into account food costs and income.
  • Responsible for ensuring that at all times a high standard of cleanliness of your kitchen and restaurant is maintained
  • Responsible for event management including coffee mornings, BBQ’s, afternoon teas, supper clubs etc.
  • To take full responsible for the food expenditure within your scheme, including the ordering of stock, taking into account costing’s of menus, and the use of resources to ensure the agreed food profit margins are maintained, in order to reduce the service charge contribution.
  • Manage supplier relationships and purchasing for externally sourced ingredients purchases, having awareness to seasonal costs and designing menus accordingly.
  • Handling and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Produce a seven day a week rota and cover or find cover for team absence or holidays to ensure continuity of service delivery.
  • Managing team members, including annual appraisals, regular one to ones and team meetings and cross functional team meetings.
  • Providing training and support to all team members, promoting and encouraging each individuals learning and development.
  • Maintain safe working conditions and ensure all team members are inducted, trained and are working according to the safe systems at work
  • Undertake other duties/hours of work as reasonable required and are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.

The ideal candidate must be experienced and confident managing a team but equally happy to work alone as required.

Salary £25,130 per year

Hours of work 35 per week  -Work to a rota to provide 7 day cover, 365 days of the year
