Duties for this role will include:-

  • Work within the Hospitality team in the kitchen and restaurant as directed by the Hospitality Supervisor or Hospitality Manager.
  • Provide well presented, appetising meals and snacks from the restaurant menu, managing and delegating Hospitality Assistants to achieve this.
  • Provide excellent customer service, adhering and contributing to the highest possible cleaning standards and health & safety standards.
  • Taking responsibility of the kitchen and restaurant operation in the absence of the Hospitality Supervisor for short periods of time (if applicable).
  • Training other staff members how to use equipment in accordance with the safe systems at work.
  • Maintaining records in relation to Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens and other relevant policy and regulation.
  • Carrying out cleaning tasks independently, delegating cleaning tasks and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen and restaurant.
  • Working in accordance with the COSHH system and COSHH Policy at all times.
  • Handling and resolving complaints professionally.
  • Training and supporting new members of staff and being actively involved in the induction of new staff members.
  • Attend and contribute positively to team meetings.
  • Responsible for stock rotation and stock control including checking use by dates and the ordering of food stocks.

Ensure the Associations Health and Safety policy and all relevant related policies, are adhered to in all aspects of your work.

The ideal candidate will have several years previous experience in a similar role however highly experienced fitters and juniors (at least 2 years’ experience) will be considered.

Working alongside the current team you will be fitting Aluminium Bi-fold doors, Aluminium Windows and Aluminium Roof Lantern, along with some UPVC work.
